sunday afternoon

I made cheese cake yesterday and I really thought it would looked nice like what I saw at the cake house. Sadly my handmade cheese cake wasn't looked as good as what I expected. At the bottom of the cake still had some milk that hadn't been frozen perfectly although I placed the cake in the freezer for more than a day.   As it frozen this evening, it became ice-cream-liked at the bottom of the cake. So I called it cheese ice-cream cake. This was my second trial in making cheese cake and seriously I can't make a perfect cheese cake although I had follow all the recipe's steps.

Journey to Badau-Lanjak, Indonesia

On 16th February 2012, my parents and I visited my dad's friends at Badau. We leaved Sri Aman at about 6.30 am and used the Lubok Antu road to go to Badau. We were accompanied by dad's friend from Lubok Antu. It only took 5 minutes to arrive Badau from Lubok Antu. Then we were invited to go to Mr. Ripin's house and had breakfast there. The whole family of Mr. Ripin treated us kindly. At the afternoon we went to Lanjak Entimau which took 1 hour from Badau to arrive there. The weather on that day was so sunny until I could felt the heat from the sun but I didn't got sunburn, way too lucky. At night, we were had so much fun at Mr. Ripin's house. We had dinner with them and I got to know lots of people from there especially Mr. Ripin's family. Then we backed to our hotel and stayed there a night. On the next day we had to came back to Sri Aman and leaved Badau at 10 am.

Err I don't know what tower is this but it was at the top of Lanjak Hill

This is where we stayed for a night.

Took this picture at Badau market on the second day.

Although the journey to Badau and Lanjak wasn't wonderful like journey to Pontianak but I was really enjoyed the journey. What I like most about here is the people where they treated us very kindly. I loved and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Danau Sentarum from the top of the Lanjak Hill. This was really a good yet memorable journey to those places. I wish that I can go to those places again some other time. I was so exhausted yesterday but I am really feel so lucky because got the chance to discovered those places. Praise to Lord!

green tea latte

Today my parents and I went to Starbucks which was located at Jalan Song in Kuching. Well I'd say that was my second time having Starbucks beverages. I seldom go there due to the expensive coffee's price which cost me MYR10 above. Quite shitty price isn't it?

The first time I entered Starbucks was with my brother, Finlayson and that was at the spring shopping mall. I remembered we ordered brew coffee and it tasted bitter ever! The cashier was looking weirdly at us when we ordered that bitter coffee. Of course they did gave us some sugar packets but we only took four packets and we put two packets into our drinks and it still tasted bad. From that day on we said to each other that we didn't want to go there again just because we ordered wrong beverage. We thought they helped us to put some sugars into our drinks. Furthermore we only had small amount of money in our wallets that day. What a shameful experience to us!

But today mum bought me a medium-sized of green tea frappucino latte and it tasted awesome and nice! I love it very much and I'd like to have it again next time when brother come back from Labuan. Mum had her signature hot chocolate with some cream and she shared it with dad because dad didn't really into Starbucks drinks.

Green Tea Frappucino Latte

Doesn't it look tasty enough to make your mouth watering? If you take a sip of it, you'll have your own reason to go to Starbucks again. Thank you mummy for bought me this super-delicious ice blended. I've promised myself to bring brother to the Starbucks again next time once he arrives Kuching.

Okay yesterday I met with Ida at Lachau who was my classmate at Poly. She was with her friends and I asked her how came she got to Lachau. She said she was on her way to Saratok for 2-months work contract. I forgot to ask her what job she is doing. She was so lucky because she already had her own job but I don't know whether she works permanently or temporarily because she once said she wanted to further her study on September. Well at least she already had job and had her own salary. Congrats my friend!
